Moreover, Love’s behavior during the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame raised eyebrows. While most would graciously thank friends, family, and crew, Love took the stage to insult The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, calling them "chickenshit"—a move that showcased a profound lack of professionalism, particularly since Paul McCartney wasn’t even present at the ceremony.
Ultimately, while it’s undeniable that Crosby drew inspiration from The Beach Boys' intricate harmonies, it’s clear he aligns with Brian Wilson’s critical view of Love. Being a talented singer is one thing, but how an artist conducts themselves both on and offstage can offer a far deeper insight into their character than most people might initially recognize.
